From our great event coordinator, Jennifer Hunter, comes this: “Enchanted Island is open from 4:30-8:30 on Friday.  Unlimited ride wristbands are $5.50 for the evening.  Anyone who enters between 5:00 and 7:00, buys a wristband, and mentions Khalsa, will have 30% of their wristband price donated to the school.  You only need to buy a wristband if you plan to ride on rides.  So parents can buy for their children, but don’t have to pay for themselves unless they want to ride.”

Enchanted Island is at 1202 West Encanto Boulevard, in Encanto Park. More info at www.enchantedisland.com.

Fun trivia fact: did you know the carousel horses were repainted/restored by a Khalsa parent? True! Maggie Keane did the painstaking work years ago.

          • Fish pond: 1 long piece and two short pieces
          • Space shooter: One piece with holes
          • Roulette wheel: Solid big case that doesn’t come apart easily, with wheel (needs bolts replaced)
          • Prize display cases: Hinged display cases that sit on top of a table

          • 3 foot kiddie pool: Small green kiddie pool
          • Raffle spinner: The original Wallace and Ladmo spinner
