We provide the pizza, childcare, and a fun, prompt, one-hour meeting. The meeting runs from 6 pm to 7 pm, and this year we are making sure the pizzas arrive at 5:45 so you can arrive a bit early and enjoy some food and conversation.
Did you know our meetings ranked a 9.3 out of 10 in a 2009 poll of Khalsa parents? Our meetings are prompt, efficient, and drama-free. Actually, they’re kinda fun!
We want to stress that it’s not necessary to attend PTO meetings to be involved with PTO (see our volunteer page). The meetings are where many of our decisions and discussions take place, but we understand it may be difficult for some parents to attend all the meetings. We’ll have many ways for our community to stay in touch with each other.
We meet in the elementary campus multi-purpose room (upstairs in the only 2nd-story building). The elementary campus is on the southwest corner of 3rd Street and Virginia.
Are you a first timer to a PTO meeting?
Don’t worry about getting roped into volunteering your time. We simply want your attendance and input.
PTO meetings count towards your parenting hours.
Your attendance counts towards those hours you need. And did we mention we’ll watch your children for you while you get some great pizza from zPizza?!
