20 Khalsa parents, students and staff had a great time at the Mercury game on Sunday. We were part of the fan tunnel at half-time, giving high-fives to Mercury player and coaches (and one brave 3-year-old boy who ran from his seat out onto the court). Khalsa kids were part of the “Mercury train,” where all the kids in the stadium get on the court during the second time out of the 4th quarter. Eventually, all students returned! We also got a sweet basketball signed by the team!

Unfortunately, Mercury lost their 3-minutes-remaining 12-point lead , and Seattle nailed a 3-pointer with 3 seconds left to break a tie. Game over.

We may do more events with the Suns and Mercury, and if you’re interested in going, let us know!
